We have selected our vans to suit the Monmouth area and its narrow lanes and steep hills. Not too big and not too small. We can supply you with boxes and packaging, or we can come and pack for you.
We put mattresses and sofas into clean bags before we carry them out. Big TVs and big fridges go into special boxes, and once in the van everything is wrapped in blankets and tied securely in place with fabric ties that don’t rub on delicate surfaces.
Point to watch: Be very sure about the timings of your move. Agree a specific hand-over time when the house is to be clear. This will not necessarily be the same time as when conveyancing is completed.
Van and Driver Hire
If you are a householder or business, then sometimes you just need one or two things collecting from A and delivering to B. We can do that. We move pianos, antiques, and heavy garden planters.
Sometimes you need just a few thing to or from a storage container. No problem.
The worst was a huge stone horse trough. The best was Paul McCartney’s psychedelic piano.
Packing and Storage
We will either loan you or sell you suitable boxes. These are strong special multi-use cartons in a selection of sizes. If local we will loan them free of charge, including collection and delivery, for a period of 14 days. After that, or when distance makes collection impractical, we will make a modest charge for them. We have special wardrobe boxes, to take clothes straight from hanging rails.
You are welcome to pack and or unpack yourself, or we are happy to do it for you, often on the previous or next day.
Please don’t pack books into the biggest boxes; they weigh a ton!
We have access to dry, secure, conventional storage space and also to ventilated storage containers locally, subject to availability.
No garage or shed where you are going? We can rent you a garage-size marquee to tide you over and will put it up for you on level ground.

We are downsizing; and have stuff to dispose of. Can you help?
We can deliver the contents of your home to different places, preferably before the main move. Stuff can go to charity, be dumped, taken for auction or stored for you pending disposal.
How do we pay you?
We request a 10% deposit on booking, please, then payment by BACS or Paypal on the day.
Can I buy cheaper?
If so, then probably not by much. But if that is the case; we would love to know. If you want an approximate guide price, then please get in touch. We are generally cheaper than big city firms.
How do you quote?
If local, we will come out, record what you have and come back to you very quickly with a price. If you are too far away for that, we will ask you to talk us through what you have on the phone, room by room.
